Critical Exponents of Photoinitiated Gelation at Different Light Intensities
Authors:Doğruyol, Zekeriya; Arsu, Nergis; Pekcan, Önder
Publisher and Date:(Taylor & Francis Inc, 2009)A photo-differential scanning calorimetric (Photo-DSC) technique was used to study the photoinitiated radical polymerization of a 75% epoxy diacrylate (EA) and 25% tripropyleneglycoldiacrylate (TPGDA) mixture with 2-mercaptothioxanthone (TX-SH) as photoinitiator by using different light intensities. Photopolymerization reactions were carried out under identical conditions of temperature and initiator concentration. It was observed that all conversion curves during gelation at various Might intensities ...

Critical phenomenon during photoinitiated gelation at different temperatures: A Photo-DSC study
Authors:Dogruyol, Zekeriya; Arsu, Nergis; Dogruyol, Sevnur Keskin; Pekcan, Önder
Publisher and Date:(Elsevier Science, 2011)The behaviour of photoinitiated radical polymerization of an 80 wt% epoxy diacrylate (EA) and 20 wt% tripropyleneglycoldiacrylate (TPGDA) mixture with 2-mercaptothioxanthone (TX-SH) photoinitiator was studied at different temperatures by using photo-differential scanning calorimetric (Photo-DSC) technique. All photopolymerization reactions were carried out under the same conditions. It was observed that all conversion curves during gelation at different temperatures present nice sigmoidal behaviour ...

Investigation of PSt-MWCNT concentration on epoxyacrylate photopolymerization and conductivity of polymer films
Authors:Doğruyol, Zekeriya; Temel, Gökhan; Doğruyol, Sevnur Keskin; Pekcan, Önder; Arsu, Nergis
Publisher and Date:(Elsevier Science SA, 2013)Photopolymerization kinetics and conductivity changes of epoxyacrylate composites for various loading modified PSt-MWCNT weight fractions changing from 0.0025 to 0.2 wt.% were evaluated by performing photo differential scanning calorimetry (photo-DSC) and four point conductivity measurements. 0.2% PSt-MWCNT additive polymeric films had their electrical conductivity boosted by 6% more than non-additive polymeric films. Percolation of glassy regions during photopolymerization of epoxy acrylate in DMF
Authors:Doğruyol, Zekeriya; Arsu, Nergis; Doğruyol, Sevnur Keskin; Pekcan, Önder
Publisher and Date:(Elsevier Science SA, 2015)The gelation of epoxy acrylate (EA) 80% and tripropyleneglycol diacrylate (TPGDA) 20% was studied through the use of photo-differential scanning calorimetric (photo-DSC) technique in the presence of a thioxanthone based initiator. Photo-induced polymerization reactions were performed under identical conditions of temperature initiator concentration and UV light intensity in various NN-dimethylformamide (DMF) contents. Photo-DSC technique allowed us to monitor the gelation without disturbing the ...

Authors:Doğruyol, Zekeriya; Karasu, Feyza; Balta, Demet Karaca; Arsu, Nergis; Pekcan, Önder
Publisher and Date:(Taylor & Francis Ltd, 2008)Photo-differential scanning calorimetric (Photo-DSC) technique was used to study the gelation of P-3038 (epoxy acrylate (EA) 75% and tripropyleneglycoldiacrylate (TPGDA) 25%) in the presence of various thioxanthone-based initiators namely thioxanthone (TX) 5-thia-naphtacene-12-one (TX-NP) 2-(carboxymethoxy) thioxanthone (TX-OCH(2)COOH) 2-thioxanthone-thioacetic acid (TX-SCH(2)COOH) and 2-mercaptothioxanthone (TX-SH). Photopolymerization reactions were performed under identical conditions of ...
