Broadband impedance matching via lossless unsymmetrical lattice networks
Authors:
Publisher and Date:(Elsevier GMBH Urban & Fischer Verlag, 2012)In this paper a broadband impedance matching network (equalizer) design algorithm has been proposed. In the equalizer a lossless unsymmetrical lattice network has been utilized. The branch impedances of the lattice network are considered as singly terminated lossless LC networks since it is not desired to dissipate power in the equalizer. After giving the algorithm its usage has been illustrated via an example. (C) 2011 Elsevier GmbH. All rights reserved.

Design of broadband single matching networks
Authors:
Publisher and Date:(Elsevier GMBH Urban & Fischer Verlag, 2009)In general commercially available software tools are preferred to design broadband matching networks for wireless communication systems. But they need a properly selected matching network topology with good initial element values. Therefore in this paper a new real frequency technique is presented to generate broadband single matching networks with suitable initial element values. In the proposed method load impedance is written in terms of ABCD-parameters of the desired matching network and the ...

Design of impedance matching network for B&K 8104 hydrophone via Direct Computational Technique for underwater communication
Authors:
Publisher and Date:(2010)Underwater acoustic communication is a rapidly growing field of applied research and is a technique of sending and receiving message below water. There are several ways of doing such communication but the most common one is realized by using transducers. In underwater acoustic communication one of the most important problems is driving the transducers with matched network. In this study design of impedance matching network for B&K 8104 hydrophone that can be used for underwater communication was ...

Narrower Band Matching with Low Quality Factor Values
Authors:
Publisher and Date:(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2021)In this work, a new approach based on quality factor technique is proposed to design narrower band matching networks. The main idea is to use one series and one parallel lossless one-port LC network between generator and load resistances. In the proposed approach, it is not necessary to use a high quality factor value to get narrower band, it is enough to use the quality factor value defined by generator and load resistances. After explaining the rationale of the new approach, an example is given ...
