In this work, a new approach based on quality factor technique is proposed to design narrower band matching networks. The main idea is to use one series and one parallel lossless one-port LC network between generator and load resistances. In the proposed approach, it is not necessary to use a high quality factor value to get narrower band, it is enough to use the quality factor value defined by generator and load resistances.
