Yerelkurgu, uyarlama, yeniden yapım: Yeşilçam döneminde bilim kurgu

Abstract

Bu tez; 2000 yılı öncesinde çekilen Türk bilim kurgu filmlerinin yabancı bilim kurgu filmlerinin sadece yeniden yapımı ve uyarlaması olmadığını ve kendine has özellikleri ile yeni bir alttürün örnekleri olduğu hipotezini savunmaktadır. Türk Bilim kurgu filmlerinin kültürel etkiler ile yeniden yorumlanmış ve ?Yerelleştirilmiş? filmler olduğu hipotezi 1955- 1987 yılları arasında çekilmiş olan Türk bilim kurgu filmleri üzerinden analiz edilerek desteklenmiştir.

This thesis defends the hypothesis that Turkish science fiction movies are not only the reproductions and adaptations of foreign science fiction movies; they are also the examples of a new subgenre with their own special features. The hypothesis that Turkish science fiction movies are reinterpreted and "localized" with cultural effects has been supported with the analysis of the Turkish science fiction films, made between 1955 and 1987.
