In this study the efficients of the mutual funds which are performed in Turkey between 2000-2006 years, are compared CAPM performance measures ( Sharpe, Jensen and Treynor endexes) with DEA aplications. The measures which based on CAPM are centred on Markowitz portfolio theory. DEA is a linear programming based technique for measuring the relative efficiency of organizational decision units where the presence of multiple input and outputs makes comparisions difficult. At the first step of the study, classic performance measures are done, after that alfa, beta and standard deviations also skewwness and curtosis values are used as a inputs in the DEA applications. According to the every different applications, the efficient mutuals funds are ranked, as a result new ranking of mutual funds compared to propose common and different cases. As a result, A type mutual funds either classic performance or DEA have the same results and ranking. When we look at the B type mutual funds, in the classic performance measurements, the first mutual fund in a list is at the at end of the another lists. Besides, DEA method has almost the same results.en_US
