Article Citation Count: 9Comparison of intraoperative transit-time flow measurement with early postoperative magnetic resonance flow mapping - in off-pump coronary artery surgery(Texas Heart Inst., 2003) Sanisoğlu, İlhan; Güden, Mustafa; BalcI, Cem; SaĞbaŞ, Ertan; Duran, Cihan; AkpInar, BelhhanThe purpose of this prospective study was to evaluate graft patency of off-pump coronary artery surgery intraoperatively by transit-time flow measurement and to compare this technique with postoperative magnetic resonance flow mapping. We present the CT findings of an adult patient with jejunojejunal intussusception secondary to submucosal lipoma as the lead point in this case report.Article Citation Count: 16Monostotic fibrous dysplasia of the clivus: MRI and CT findings(Springer Verlag, 2002) Şırvancı, Mustafa; Karaman, Kübra; Onat, Levent; Duran, Cihan; Ulusoy, Onur LeventFibrous dysplasia is a developmental disorder caused by abnormal proliferation and maturation of fibroblasts resulting in replacement of mature bone by structurally weak immature woven bone. Clival involvement in monostotic fibrous dysplasia is extremely unusual and has rarely been reported previously. We report a case of monostolic fibrous dysplasia of the clivus with special emphasis on the imaging findings and differential diagnosis.Article Citation Count: 8Osteochondritis dissecans of the tarsal navicular(AMER ORTHOPAEDIC FOOT & ANKLE SOC INC, 2008) Öztürk, Ersin; Şırvancı, Mustafa; Mutlu, Hakan; Duran, Cihan; Sönmez, GünerA 27-year-old male athlete presented with chronic right dorsal midfoot pain and limitation in midfoot movements. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated an nondisplaced osteochondral fragment within the proximal articular surface of the tarsal navicular. Imaging findings of this disease are presented and discussed.Article Citation Count: 18Pedicular stress fracture in lumbar spine(Elsevier Science Inc, 2002) Şırvancı, Mustafa; Ulusoy, Levent; Duran, CihanThe purpose of this article is to report two cases of pedicular stress fracture of the lumbar spine which is an uncommon cause of low back and leg pain. The relevant literature is reviewed and features of the cases that differ from those already reported are highlighted. One of our cases of pediculolysis is the first in the literature for that is caused by rotational instability induced by laminectomy. The remodeling of the fractured pedicle was striking when compared with its normal counterpart. To the authors' knowledge this is the first report of a pediculolysis with T2-weighted imaging findings. In addition we report the computed tomographic (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) imaging findings of a healed pediculolysis that has not been reported previously. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science Inc. Recently it has been reported that typical computed tomography (CT) findings of primary epiploic appendagitis (PEA) provide a definitive diagnosis in most of the cases. However since these papers are only few they are easily overlooked by the practicing radiologists. Our purpose is to add four new cases to the existing literature and to perform a review of the literature. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Inc. In this case report we describe the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings of PEA correlated with computed tomographic (CT) findings. MRI findings included an oval shaped fat intensity mass with a central dot on T1- and T2-weighted images C which possessed an enhancing rim on postgadolinium T1-weighted fat saturated images. The lesion was best visualized on postcontrast T1-weighted fat saturated images. MRI findings of PEA should be considered in the differential diagnosis with the other causes of acute abdominal pain.
