Abstract

The studies related to tradition often focus on how tradition occurs. Discussions highlighted that traditions arise with the repetition of the passed knowledge in certain period of time and when the society?s passed knowledge is used as a symbol of recreation for the existing concept. As it can be seen in the example of Hacivat ve Karagöz Neden Öldürüldü movie that tradition is a symbol that is recreated in order to continue its existing with new concept.
