Yazilim sektorunde proje yonetimi

Abstract

Degisen ve gelisen teknoloji mal ve hizmet uretiminde rekabeti artirmis isletmeleri uretimde bu gelisime ayak uydurmaya yoneltmistir. Bu anlamda isletmeler projelerini gerceklestirmede Gantt CPM ve PERT gibi bilimsel proje yonetimi tekniklerini kullanmaya baslamistir. Projeyi baslangic ve bitis zamani belirlenmis bir amac dogrultusunda yazili hale getirilmis butce ve zaman kisitiyla tanimlanmis gecici ve her biri birbirinden farkli is aktivitesi olarak proje yonetimini ise belirli amac ve hedeflere ulasabilmek icin isletme kaynaklarinin verimli ve etkin bir sekilde planlanmasi organize edilmesi yonetilmesi ve kontrolu olarak tanimlayabiliriz. Projeleri proje yonetimi teknikleri kullanilarak planlanan zamanda planlanan butceyle belirlenmis ve gorev tanimlari yapilmis personelle tum kaynaklari en iyi sekilde kullanarak yapmak hedeflenmistir. Bu calismada proje yonetiminin yazilim sektorundeki yeri ve onemi anlatilmis ve yazilim sektorundeki bir projenin incelenmesiyle detaylandirilmistir.

The changing and improving technology has increased the competition in providing product and service, and had directed entities to work in accordance with there improvements. To realize their projects, the enitites have started to use scientific project management technics like Gantt, CPM and PERT We can define project as a working activity which has certain beginning and ending date, based on a purpose, and defined with budget and time limit, and project management as efficient planning, organisation, management and control of resources in order to reach certain goals. The aim is to complete the projects by using project management technics,in planned time, with planned budget and, chosen and mission objectives given personnel, by using all of the resources efficiently. This paper shows the place and importance of project management in software sector and it has been detailed with working on a project in software sector.
