| dc.description.sponsorship | Prof. Nazif Mandacı received his Ph.D. from Ankara University in 2003. He has been a member of the department of ınternational relations at Izmir Yasar University since 2010. His research interest spans contemporary Balkan politics and minority issues. Much of his work has been on national minorities in the Balkans and political designs for their political integration, Turkish foreign policy towards the Balkans, political systems in the Balkans and security dimensions of interregional relations of the Western Balkans. He has concentrated recently on historical dimensions of land grabbing in the Western Balkans, as the continuation of the research on land grabbing practices in the South East Europe, which was also supported by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) and Columbia University, Harriman Institute in New York along 2018–2019. | |
