Continuous dependence on data for a solution of the quasilinear parabolic equation with a periodic boundary condition
(Springer International Publishing Ag, 2013)
In this paper we consider a parabolic equation with a periodic boundary condition and we prove the stability of a solution on the data. We give a numerical example for the stability of the solution on the data.
A Wrench in the Works of Human Acetylcholinesterase: Soman Induced Conformational Changes Revealed by Molecular Dynamics Simulations
(Public Library Science, 2015)
Irreversible inactivation of human acetylcholinesterase (hAChE) by organophosphorous pesticides (OPs) and chemical weapon agents (CWA) has severe morbidity and mortality consequences. We present data from quantum ...
Financial Literacy among Turkish College Students: The Role of Formal Education, Learning Approaches, and Parental Teaching
(Ammons Scientific Ltd, 2014)
This study assessed financial literacy and its correlates among Turkish college students with special emphasis on the role of formal education learning approaches and parental influences. Financial literacy was measured ...
WikiLeaks on the Middle East: Obscure Diplomacy Networks and Binding Spaces
(Routledge Journals Taylor & Francis Ltd, 2014)
In this paper we explore the flow of information regarding strategic Middle Eastern countries in the WikiLeaks 'diplomatic cables' by applying data-mining techniques to construct directed networks. The results show that ...
Weak generalized and numerical solution for a quasilinear pseudo-parabolic equation with nonlocal boundary condition
(Springer International Publishing, 2014)
This paper investigates the one dimensional mixed problem with nonlocal boundary conditions for the quasilinear parabolic equation. Under some natural regularity and consistency conditions on the input data the existence ...
Polymer/carbon nanotube composite film formation: A fluorescence study
(Wiley-Blackwell, 2014)
In this study the effect of multi-walled Carbon nanotube (MWNT) on film formation behavior of Polystrene (PS) latex film was investigated by using steady state fluorescence technique. Films were prepared by mixing of pyrene ...
Calculating Level Densities of Heavy Nuclei by the Shell Model Monte Carlo Method
(Academic Press Inc Elsevier Science, 2014)
The microscopic calculation of nuclear level densities in the presence of correlations is a difficult many-body problem. The shell model Monte Carlo method provides a powerful technique to carry out such calculations using ...
Liberalization Post-Crisis Restructuring and Internationalization in Turkish Banking
(Routledge Journals Taylor & Francis Ltd, 2015)
This study provides a historical review of the transformation of the Turkish banking sector since the initiation of the financial liberalization program in 1980. It demonstrates the roles of macroeconomic institutional and ...
Nuclear state densities of odd-mass heavy nuclei in the shell model Monte Carlo approach
(Amer Physical Soc., 2015)
The shell model Monte Carlo (SMMC) approach enables the microscopic calculation of nuclear state densities in model spaces that are many orders of magnitude larger than those that can be treated by conventional diagonalization ...
Relative group size and minority school success: The role of intergroup friendship and discrimination experiences
(Wiley-Blackwell, 2014)
From an intergroup relations perspective relative group size is associated with the quantity and quality of intergroup contact: more positive contact (i.e. intergroup friendship) supports and negative contact (i.e. experienced ...
